Hand Building with Clay Workshop with Linda Fahey
In this workshop Linda will demonstrate three building block techniques for hand building with clay and work with you individually on each of those techniques by having you complete 2 pieces in each technique. Each student will get approx 10lbs of porcelain clay to create small pots, cups, and mugs including adding handles and complete at least 6-8 handmade vessels! This class is designed to get you started in beginning clay making skills and/or further guide those with intermediate skill levels. Linda then takes your pieces to be bisque fired, glazed, glazed fired and ready for pick up 10-14 days after the workshop.
This class is ideal for anyone interested in starting with clay or who has recently started. No prior experience necessary.
Linda Fahey is a talented ceramic artist in addition to being the chief curator and proprietor of YONDER, a gorgeous store in Pacifica. She has her own line of ceramics, all inspired by a life lived by the coast.
